Roland Halil

Roland Halil is a clinical pharmacist at Bruyere Health Academic Family Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is also a consultant with the Foundation for Medical Practice Education at McMaster University. Born in Winnipeg, raised in Ottawa, educated in Newfoundland and Toronto, he wishes he was working at RxFiles in Saskatoon. He is currently the Content Lead for Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine at UOttawa and cross-appointed to the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UOttawa as well. His area of research focuses on potentially inappropriate prescribing in primary care. He is an avid lecturer with a strong focus on logic and rational prescribing.
