Darrien Rattray

Darrien is originally from a small reserve in northern BC. He went to university and medical school at the University of Alberta. He completed an OB/GYN residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax NS before doing an MIS Fellowship in Regina SK with Dr. John Thiel. He is a CanSAGE Fellowship Director for the MIS Program in Regina and sits on the board of directors for CanSAGE. He is currently the Saskatchewan / Manitoba rep on the Royal College OB/GYN speciality committee. He was the OB/GYN Residency Program Director for the Regina program at the University of Saskatchewan for 7 years and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of OB/GYN. He has an interest in fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, surgical simulation, and ambulatory gynecology and is actively involved in research and teaching in these areas. He currently practices in Regina where he lives with his wife and 2 children. One of his passions is raising awareness of endometriosis and is thrilled to be speaking at the RxFiles Virtual Conference on this topic.
