Tessa Laubscher

Dr. Tessa Laubscher earned her medical degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated to Canada in 1991 and began practising Family Medicine in northern Saskatchewan and then Saskatoon. Over the years she developed interests in diabetes, chronic disease management, healthcare quality improvement and medical education, becoming involved in numerous activities in Saskatchewan and nationally. In 2018 Dr. Laubscher “retired” from Family Medicine, to focus on working as a diabetes medical specialist in Saskatoon and on diabetes-related medical education and QI initiatives in Saskatchewan.
